Whether you're new to the area or a returning client, you’ll sense the difference from the moment you arrive. Our goal is simple—know each dog, meet their individual needs, and provide a space where they can run, play, and rest in comfort.
A Unique Dog Daycare Experience
Led by Marta, a lifelong dog care professional, Paws@Play was one of the first in the region to focus exclusively on daycare. We offer a full-day, off-leash environment with no crating. Dogs are grouped by size and temperament, allowing safe, joyful interactions. Our small, consistent team builds relationships with each pup, spotting changes in behavior and health early.
Our Focus On Daycare Services
We don’t offer grooming, we don’t board, and we’re not a franchise. Daycare is what we do—all day, every day—which means your dog gets our full focus. Big dogs have room to romp in a spacious 1,800-square-foot indoor playroom. Small dogs or seniors enjoy a quieter 510-square-foot space. Outside, dogs can lounge in the fresh air under a shaded tent or splash around in our summer pool.
Our approach is rooted in experience. Marta, our founder, spent over a decade working in dog care before opening Paws@Play in 2005. Since then, we’ve proudly remained the area’s only facility focused exclusively on daytime dog daycare. No grooming, no retail distractions—just personalized daily care for every type of pup.
If you’re part of the Wayne community or just moved to town, you're invited to schedule a visit with us! We do have some boarding, but at a very small scale and for a very select few.

Supervised Play And Freedom Of Movement
Our supervised playgroups include roomy indoor and outdoor areas, a separate space just for small or senior dogs, and seasonal amenities like a splash pool and shaded rest spots. With no crates or harsh rotations, every dog enjoys the freedom to move, play, rest, and socialize. Dogs thrive when they feel safe—and we’re here to make that happen daily.

Marta is amazing. Our Bernese mountain dog is very anxiety prone, and he really struggled with feeling comfortable playing with other dogs initially.
